These terms cover fivedollars.ai — this site, the waitlist, and the task service as it launches ("the service"), operated by fivedollars.ai ("we"). By using the site or joining the waitlist you agree to them.
fivedollars.ai delivers digital task work produced by AI systems: you post a brief, receive watermarked previews, request revisions, and accept or reject the result. Each task page states the scope included at the flat maximum price of $5. The service is in staged rollout; joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee an invite date.
You're charged only when you accept a delivery, never more than $5 per task, and often less. If you reject a task entirely you're refunded everything except the raw compute cost of the attempts. Waitlist members get their first task for $1.
You keep all rights to what you submit and warrant you're allowed to submit it. Once you accept a delivery, it's yours, with full commercial rights and no attribution required. Rejected and unaccepted previews remain ours, stay watermarked, and can't be used. Outputs appear in the public gallery only if you allow it at checkout.
Some tasks carry stated limits on their pages: legal, tax, and financial documents are drafting and research help, not professional advice; wellness plans are general guidance, not medical advice; readings are for entertainment; voice cloning requires documented consent from the voice's owner; scraping and security tasks only run against targets you're authorized to point us at. The task page's stated scope and limits are part of these terms.
Don't use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, produce deceptive content presented as human-made where that matters, harass real people, or generate content sexualizing minors. We can refuse or unwind tasks that cross these lines and may suspend accounts that try repeatedly.
AI output can be wrong, generic, or unusable for your purpose — that's exactly why acceptance, revisions, and the reject-for-pennies guarantee exist. The service is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $20 or what you paid us in the past 12 months.
